These are photographs of waves in shallow water. 

The photographs were taken on coastal areas of the Mediterranean Sea using a polarizing filter which reduces the glare of light while darkening other areas.  The photos have undergone some color and contrast editing.   

The structure in each photograph has been left virtually intact.  All water motion effects come from the water itself.
