These compositions are of people in different scenarios also photographed from different viewpoints and distances. 

Layering and editing these images is more complex than with the Trees & Fields series since there is more activity and more complexity in structure. 

 

The more layers that are merged together, while using creative color editing, results in subjects becoming more fragmented and abstracted, to the point where the people in the images are barely recognizable.  Thus the term figurative abstract.
